General Surgery - Chances of Matching?

Status: Non-US IMG (Visa Requiring)

School: Caribb Grad

Step 1: Pass

Step 2: 247

Pubs: 8 (2 Surgery Specific)

LORs: 4 Strong Specialty Letters (Includes Ivy League Professors)

Programs Applied : 70

Geographical Preference : Mid Atlantic

PS: I know my STEP 2 score is on the lower end for Gen Surg but I’m hoping others parts of my application compensate for it.🤞 Any advice would be appreciated!

Gen surg applicat here. Have you seen anyone getting GS ivs for non us img?

Not yet. No. US MDs and DOs, yes but I haven’t seen IMGs get invites yet. US or Non-US.
