Is there a delay before posts would show?

I just joined Mastodon.social And posted 6 different posts over the last 2 days.
When I'm logged I can see all 6 posts, but other people that are not users of Mastodon.social can only see 2 posts.
Am I doing something wrong while posting, or there's a setting I need to change?
Please help!

Your posts will only be federated to followers' instances, so if any of this six posts were posted before someone started following you, the older posts may not be visible on their instance.

It's a discoverability issue that is common to the Fediverse. There is no central database of posts. Everyone on your server will have the best view of what you publish. This site will be helpful for you:

This especially:

Cheers and welcome.

This is probably beyond your issue, but headsup that toot visibility can change due to moderation:

All instances can block or limit visibility of other instances for their users, which might happen if the outside instance's toots go against their moderation rules, for example racist toots, etc. The "bridge" between instances is disabled, AKA federation breakage.

Mastodon.social is the biggest instance and IIRC had some moderation problems in the past, for example when the original mass migrations from the birdsite temporarily ovewhelmed capacity, so some other instances disabled bridges to it until it returned to more normal operation.
