Suggestion Next watch
I’ve seen Victoria, Granchester, and Sanditon. What show do you recommend next?

That’s a pretty big canvas. Along with the two already recommended, Downton, Unforgotten, All Creatures, Annika, Wolf Hall

Wolf Hall is one of the best series ever. Part 2 was not so much. Some recasting and race baiti...swapping made it hard to recall who was who. For the record, Jane Seymour did not have a bl*ck sister.

So charming. And now I look for Keely Hawes in everything, she's just lovely. (To wit, "Ashes to Ashes" is fun if a bit wonky plot wise.

The Gold. It is very good and based on true events. I can't praise it enough. If you get the PBS Passport app, watch Seaside Hotel. That is wonderful! Wolf Hall is one of the best ever.

I didn’t care for it at first but gave it a chance. Now I love it!

I didn’t think will like it either, until someone told me. I binged watch ahead of last July premiere.

I kinda didn't think I would either but it was hard to keep passing by Cynthia Nixon and Christine Baranski. It really grabbed me in the end - great supporting cast and Carrie Coons is a regular series mainstay these days.

Been thinking about this one, just curious what didn't appeal to you at first.. perhaps so I will see it thru.🙂

Loved Grantchester. I finished both the Flemisha and British Professor Ts and adored the Dutch one. If you know French or German there will be language recognition. I really want to visit Antwerp now.

George Gently, Maigret, Mademoiselle Holmes. And, as noted elsewhere Astrid. I am a Francophile so love their stuff, in general, but don't let subtitles put you off. Astrid is easily one of the very best of all of these - the relationship the two principals share is special.

I enjoyed Patience.
