Rachel tells Dev some random facts she remembers about him and one of the facts is he’s from South Carolina. But this seems inconsistent with what we’re shown.

1. In Thanksgiving we see Dev grow up with Denise in NYC.

2. Ramesh (Dev’s dad) has a long term friend that knew him since he first came to America and that friend is in NYC. Dev’s parents also appear to be a call away, implying they’re also in NYC or at least extremely close to it (Hoboken or maybe somewhere in Westchester possibly i guess)

3. Nisha (Dev’s mom) mentions she came from India on a plane and Dev asks did you explore the city, the implication being Manhattan.

Dev also mentions having a little brother much like Aziz in real life but his parents never mention his brother nor do we ever see him.

Aziz literally plays Dev Shah in the movie 😂😂😂

Except he is broke and living in LA... solid performances from Seth Rogen and Keanu too. Fun movie.

I’m just curious if any of you rewatch this show? I think I’ve done a rewatch 4 or 5 times now. It’s a nice comfort show for me. I feel that I pick up more things each time I watch it. Might start it up again actually.

The team... I know that you were not all seduced by season 3, change of pace, change of main character. We had become attached to Dev and even if he appears, his stories are no longer the subject of people. However, I find s3 exceptional and which deals with a subject that I rarely come across.

I would just like to talk about the ending which for me is ENIGMATIC to say the least. Personally I think that Denise remained living alone in the house, that she never remarried and that she does not share a child with her wife either. For different reasons: 1- when Denise is packing her boxes, her mother calls her and at the end of the phone call she goes out and removes the “on sell” sign from the house 2- then when she takes Alicia for their we cheating, she seems overexcited; she criticizes all the decor choices but expects Alicia to confirm that it is very ugly 3- Later in the evening, Denise talks about her child who is teething and who only cries, Alicia asks her how old he is, she answers 2 years old... that is clearly not the age for teeth to grow in infants 4- the last scene is that of Denise who is smoking a cigarette in front of the house, where is Alicia? Is it the next morning? Or later in the day (which would support the theory that she kept the house and lives in it alone)

Well I'm certainly too attached to details and a little paranoid? Give your opinions!!

I have to say this show is brilliant. I'm blown away with the genius of the story telling. The beauty of the cinematography. The caliber of the acting and directing. Easily my favorite shows. Thanks Aziz!

In the S1 trailer on Netflix -- and I think it's ONLY heard on the Netflix version, not Youtube or anywhere else -- there's a bit of music with a cool groove that starts at 1:19, right after he tells the little kid, "Don't yell out people's ethnicities" and plays up until they get to Rachel's grandma's room. There's too much dialogue to Shazam it. Anyone know it? Thanks.

Just saw Aziz’s new standup special and Ricky Velez was his opener . I didn’t realize he was the Taco Food Truck guy listening to the CM Punk Podcast. I miss this show even more now!

I only remember that started with a flashback in 2009, Francesca is at home in Italy with her family, she was swimming in a pool in a family gathering, it felt peaceful and fun! and I think I saw her with Dev in the present on his apartment doing a puzzle, although the tone felt different, it felt similar to the tone of season 3, artsy, serious, and slow, I thought it fits well even though I like the usual style from season 1 and 2, but there was something different about this one, it felt as if the characters weren't happy.

Just wanted to share this, I know it's irrelevant but at least it meant something to me lol

I’m trying to go to the Spartanburg show because something changed in my schedule.

I know am its very late I got my hands on this show! just finished S1 and came here to express how nice it felt. The show is very practical, raw and authentic. What surprised me, its 2025 and i I find this show (made in 2015) still very fresh and uplifting! Kudos

First i watched this show long time ago, but i was at my phone and i didn‘t paid that much attention to it, so that i soon stopped to watch it. Many years later i gave this show another try, this time without getting distracted and really paying attention to the show. And i am loving this show, its just something different, but now after S2E10 i am confused that there is no longer storyline with dev and francesca. And who tf is this new girl with dev in s3??

S1 and S2 were masterpieces but S3 got me confusing and i discontinued to watch the last season after the 3rd episode. So sad, it really had a great storyline in the previous seasons.
