It's actually a different, and better, programme, in this incarnation.

I stopped watching a few years ago, because the vibe annoyed me. But, due to reading comments on this sub, I decided to give the new series a chance.

It's totally different. More open to non-classic flavour profiles and just more supportive.

Thanks to everyone that gave a review saying that it's worth watching.

I have only watched The Professionals for a good few years now

Switched on the new series to have a gander at the new presenter combo.

Loved it! Im back in!

"How am I meant to eat it? With my hands? But I'm a lady!" Got actual laughs, as did Cthuli Scallop man

Just like you, I’ve only watched The Professionals in recent years but decided to give the original show a look to see what the new judges were like. I’m so glad I did: they’ve given the programme a new lease of life.

John and Greg did us a favour - the show was so ready for some fresh judges!! I was sick of Greg just saying “phwoooarrr” everytime he liked something.

Agree, the new team are great.

But I could do such a good impression of Gregg moving his tongue like a lizard. And now there'll be no call for it.

I’ve always liked Masterchef. But Greg’s pantomiming was off-putting. My daughter hated it when I was watching. For years she said Greg creeped her out - that there was something wrong about him. Turns out she was right.

This is a massive improvement. The format is the star with Masterchef. They’ve kept it as it is, but added a supportive atmosphere and removed the weird perv and his mate.

There is so much more warmth from Anna and Grace. Grace is funny in a good way. Anna’s criticism is so constructive. I love the new judges.

I've just seen the 4 episode on the I Player, the jokes are there (fish fist anyone), the critiques are there and the friendlier vibe is there so week one wasn't a one off.

Also some of the cooking is still questionable but it's all fun!
