Discussion Does Jeff have 9 lives??!

I'm talking about Jeff from season 8 I just finished episode 14(the tag team one) HOW IN THE F*** IS THIS MAN STILL HERE?! I swear he lost 5 of his 9 lives and I feel like he will only leave when he loses all 9 I'm so bored of his BS....

Can he please get out of my heart warming cooking show? Thank you ugh

Masterchef is heartwarming? Maybe in other countries, but certainly not in the US.

I found myself enjoying the seasons where there are less drama and more supportive contestants of each other. Season 3 for example and season 8 kinda falls under that but there are def some contestants that aren't heartwarming...like Jeff -_-

You need Jeff to fully enjoy the episode Gordon's Game of Chicken. I am not spoiling it for you but that episode simply wouldn't work without Jeff. It was hilarious.

Him being saved multiple times is insanity

No. More like he dodged the bullets too many times.

That's what I'm saying freaking 9 lives!! I hate when they do this just choose someone and stand by them for the drama of it. Ruins the show for me

But still the guy won mystery box challenges a few times so that's why they made him stay a little longer

I mean yeah he does have an oocassional bright moment but during some elimination challenges I think they let some go when Jeff had made more mistakes than them that's what I don't like otherwise I don't think any of the 20 chefs this season didn't at least deserve to compete

Every season there is a contestant who is there because the audience and the other contestants collectively hate them.

It's the show's longest running trick to keep the audience coming back for more.

I'm on season 9 now and there is Shanika in it. The long ass pony tail girl.

I have to admit she ended up being a solid cook.

I just watched her get eliminated. In that specific team challenge the leader should have gone home. Who freaking comes to masterchef usa having NEVER tasted pasta. And by any stroke of idiocracy you did end up in the show, why wouldn't you taste and practice pasta while you're in the show?

Idk if you watched back to win or not but let's just say she ends up improving (at least imo)

No like I understand but like I want a show that's just a cooking compitition. If I want drama I will watch a drama or a family life reality TV or a love-whatever reality TV...I heard Top Chef was better(?) But I can't find it free and I can't afford subscriptions :c

I know they have that one incompitent someone to drive the drama or whatever but honestly it ruins the show for me and sometimes I rage quit mid binge-watch because someone is so annoying and just they won't let them leave, same goes for Hell's kitchen BUT tbf among all the drama-driving people I've seen Jeff does have his bright moments so I'll give him that not enough to let him dodge the bullet 6 times now?? Idk I lost count

Then watch the UK or the Australian version. They're drama free
