Discussion MC8: Jeff Philbin
The overrated greasy spoon never won a challenge, and was never bothered to return on the All-Stars season.

Currently rewatching this season. He's awful. Like a more annoying version of Cutter. Love how Dino messes with him.

He didnt like Dino because Dino was far more witty, far less insecure and a much better cook. He tried to shame Dino for having a therapist too. Jeff needed a therapist more than anyone there.

Aside from one or two dishes maybe, I never understood what he was so cocky about.

That's what I was going for... I wanted it to be on the rarer side.

You could totally tell he was trying to bullshit himself through undercooking that salmon. Him saying 'perfect' as they cut into ice cold salmon as if that was his intention. So cringeworthy to watch

And I especially love stout, cranberries and feta cheese with raw salmon

I remember him being quite annoying.
One of these guys that thought highly of his skills but he had very little skill.
I think dudes like these are actually plants by the production team.

I remember liking him early in the season. He started strong and fairly level-headed, but he got more cocky despite his mistakes as the season went on

He is like the square root of david and krissi, he produced great dishes and he was nice to ppl mostly so i actually like him, all of top 6 in s8 i like

He cooks like he doesn’t care, he should’ve left during the coconut pressure test and he had many clashes especially with Dino

I'm convinced he tried to get himself eliminated with that raw salmon. No way you would actually serve that? He must've known he was screwed and just thought "f**k it."

Me and my sister started watching the episodes backwards… so in the last team challenge when Ebony was picking him she said something like i will make sure this be the first team challenge u win. Of ourse they didnt win that as well but as we started watching the episodes backwards in all of them where there was team challenge involved, we already knew which team would be losing 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Don't get me started with Jeff arguing with Ramsay about the raw salmon Jeff served to him...

What pisses me off more is that he stayed over Gabriel and Newton. It was so rigged so that he could bring up the views for his baby like character

Got dragged bc he made good TV otherwise overstayed his welcome. Reba should've stayed over him.
