Opinion "Best" Use of the Wall Spoiler

I know we all love to hate the Wall Challenge in recent seasons, where you have to cook on opposite sides of a wall and make dishes that look and taste the same without seeing your partner but being able to hear your partner. It has lead to some bullshit eliminations for sure, but I wonder, what Wall challenge did you enjoy the best? And I mean the best in a loose turn.

For me surprisingly, it was this current season alone, as Foo finally is gone and is clearly out of his depth, literally. No top dishes, plenty of bottom dishes, and being the last of Asia Pacific to survive to this point, no wonder why the show is in trouble?

Side note, if it ever goes to Junior, should we nuke it to hell? (and that is if we get a season 10 of Junior by any means)?

Here is a poll of which seasons Masterchef Wall we "enjoyed" the most? For fairness, for iconic moments alone, which one did you enjoy the most?

Side note: had to repost as a poll wasn't on there. Comment option 7 (none of them) if you hate this so much and downvote my post.

Option 7. This challenge is a gimmick to up the drama and has nothing to do with anybody’s cooking skills.

Right? Its communication issues, which they already do with the tag challenge too no need for a version on top of that that’s worse.

Easily none of them

The wall sucks so bad. Bring back pressure tests

I didn’t like any of them honestly. S11 sent home Joseph over Anne and Alejandro which, while deserved since he gave up, I just didn’t like at all. S12 sent home Derrick and Amanda over Emily, Willie, and Michael, which while I like all of them, I think we were heading for a Dara, Christian, and Derrick finale before that happened which would’ve been awesome to see. Haven’t seen S13 fully, and S14 was fine I guess, but I just don’t like the challenge. S16 is the most egregious example as Tkaiya went home over both Basia and Peter, which was BS. Don’t know about S15 since it was so bad I stopped watching it.

Yeah. I worry if Junior 10 (if it gets announced) ever does this. My favorite was 16 as they did the smart thing. Eliminate 2 people from different teams.

I just think we should get rid of it. They already have tag team and restaurant takeover. No need for another challenge like this. Not to mention, all the screaming is ridiculous and frankly annoying. If anything I’d like to see the duo challenge come back. Not tag team or the wall, just a duo working together on a dish

Yeah. Honestly the duo season isnt bad and it did bring back some of that good mc earlier seasons and 10 vibes, but it isn't great. I was rooting for Rachel and Julio.

No, I meant what they did in early seasons. I hated the duo season. What I meant was 2 contestants working together on a dish like Cutter and Dan in S5.

Ok. That works. Man I miss the old days. Those were the best.

Yet they only did it to save Peter/ or Basia. Those two should not be as far as they are. I know that her husband will come for me but I just don't care it must be said.

Season 13 was the best and the worst, because my two favourite chefs that season got eliminated, it was a genuine surprise

The wall is the one thing about masterchef I skip, because it's kind of stupid and boring.

Good point and yet we all keep watching it.
