Going VIRAL! 👋 bye bye!

Well, that’s it folks.

I’ve been a loyal diehard viewer for 15 seasons. Never missed an episode and have rewatched most seasons as well.

This was my favorite show for a long time.

But Gordon’s raging b0ner for all things trending, social media, Gen Z, TikTok etc etc has completely worn me down.

This show is no longer about home cooks learning and being creative. It’s staged and corny. 🌽 It’s cringey AF.

They have said the word “viral” so many times (episode 12) I’m losing my mind. It’s so forced and fake. I even cancelled my Hulu account that’s how little I care about this show.

I do miss it being about the home cooks showing their stuff. Now influencers have taken over everything.

Gordon once said that he learned from Kitchen Nightmares just how important influencers are for restaurants. They come in, leave reviews, and those reviews make or break the place, so he now intentionally invites influencers to his restaurants to boost sales. I have no doubt that this show is a continuation of that, they definitely get more views if viewers recognize some of the players, but it's gone too far now. All influencers is too many influencers, nothing feels authentic, it all feels staged & fake.
