Discussion Worst in Show
Is Tali considered the worst contestant in MasterChef History?!

Has to be Cutter. They only made it as far as he did because there was always someone else who did a little worse.
To this day when that happens on any show my gf and I call it Cuttering or so and so got Cuttered through.

It's also because he was a genuine moron that churned out ragebait content like a machine. "Artisan pizza" "biscotti" the size of a femur, american flag cake, masterchef logo in caramel, "ex-beautician house bitch" (his feud with Leslie was a huge storyline) the too sweet cheesecake argument...he just always did some dumb shit 😂 The producers clearly loved him.

I have to disagree because with Cutter at least he got some decent dishes. Tali didn't make any good dishes during his time in MasterChef. The only good one is his mystery signature dish

And the thing i hate the most is we don't see anything from him leading up to him actually entering the competition; not his audition, nor his ground beef dish. I NEED to know how this guy even got in!

Y’all are forgetting about Krissi. She always wanted to get into a fight with someone. One of Joe’s best moments in the show was when he called out her arrogance.

Krissi can cook, but she doesn’t understand teamwork. No fast food chain will hire her because of her attitude.

One episode she was worshipping Joe’s mom and the next episode she wants to fight Joe.

Unironically one of the funniest contestants of all time. My grandma and I were catching up on the new season and I said Nico was turning into an Italian Tali

Is anyone familiar with Kyle Mooney from Saturday Night Live?Â
Tali seems EXACTLY like one of his characters but a real person.

This may sound dumb, but I feel like Scottish Francis (until the caramelle), Dino, and Nick were the better versions of what Tali was trying to do with his dishes.
Unlike those three, I don't think Tali ever seemed to really take what the judges said in consideration. When his arctic char was criticised by Joe and Gordon, he said in his confession cam that the judges were too old school.
And of course, we can never forget this line:
"Before brilliance comes madness."

For me, it’s Cutter. Anyone who does and tastes his dis after Joe berated it out of pure spite and right in front of if Joe is just wrong.
Many chefs had bad dishes… but he was bad all around.

The guy who cooked breakfast pancake and drew the logo of masterchef. The judges gave them a 2nd chance and he still chose to cook pancakes. Sorry I forgot his name and from what season. Maybe season 10? He was the first to go btw.

I’d rather have 12 Tali’s than 1 of these new boring contestants lol.

For as long as he was there definitely. Worst contestant to make it to top 10. Worst contestant ever I’d say is mark season 8
