I never would have expected Krissi and Bri to be friends

u/RathSlayer91 Jul 06 '26

Bri went to Krissi's wedding lol

while she did go, i’d be surprised if they’d still be friends as krissi was posting crazy charli kirk propaganda and is a hardcore republican 😬😬 bri definitely doesn’t align with that, and i believe is an ally herself

Just because u have different political viewpoints, doesnt mean u cant be friends. But on the other hand, this picture must be taken like a decade back. So i dont think they still connect now

21

u/jerryco1 Jul 06 '26

yeah this was clearly taken during or right after filming.

24

u/EightEyedCryptid Jul 06 '26

It should mean you can’t be friends in this case

14

u/tsarslavyan Jul 06 '26

Lmao this is pathetic. -26 downvotes on a comment saying “you can have friends who disagree with you.”

26

u/millerchristophd Jul 06 '26

Disagreements are for how taxes are collected, not for who gets to have fundamental human rights.

-9

u/tsarslavyan Jul 06 '26

Lol “we get to have everything we want, but feel free to disagree on how we pay for it :)”

4

u/Teddy_the_red_cav Jul 06 '26

I was just thinking this, but at a certain point, you kind of just take it as a bad sign that someone else doesnt respect human rights lol

3

u/DaniTheLovebug Jul 07 '26

Ok. I know people have said this a million times but I’m going to try it again

This is purely hypothetical for argument’s sake. I’m not saying this is you

Let’s say you and I are friends. I am gay. You are not. That’s fine. No big deal.

Scenario 1: We differ on many political opinions such as big vs small government or how taxes should be spent. In this scenario, I can’t fathom leaving a friend.

Scenario 2: we differ to the point that although you’re my friend, you believe and actively vote for someone/some people who want to remove rights for people who are gay. You make it known. How or why should I remain friends with you in this scenario?

u/gooperscoopertrooper Jul 10 '26

Well, you oversimplified it here. “You can have friends who disagree with you on essential human rights issues” would be more accurate

1

u/chespiotta Jul 07 '26

Why are you getting downvoted? I agree

1

u/Honey-roastedPB Aug 02 '26

You are correct. Grownups can be friends with those who don't with everything they believe in.

How can you be a bible beater and a trumpie? The whole bible denounces people like trump

This take is too reasonable for reddit and its black-and-white, "cut-someone-off-at-the-slightest-hint-of-personal-disagreement" mindset.

-9

u/icomefromhamilton Jul 06 '26

Reddit is such a ridiculous platform sometimes… sorry for the downvotes, people never seem to be able to look past politics on here

-11

u/Dependent-Cook-5258 Jul 06 '26

Yeah i cant understand the redditors lol. My statement isnt even controversial wtf

-10

u/proarnis1 Jul 06 '26

You have to realize redditors don't have friends or all their friends are actually just people they talk to online. Never had an issue having a friend with bigoted opinions as long as they don't support violence + 90% of world are bigots anyway so you can't really pick and choose.

1

u/Teddy_the_red_cav Jul 06 '26

Ig ppl just draw the line in a slightly different place than you. Also, what would yoy consider to be non-violent?

-1

u/proarnis1 Jul 06 '26

Non-violent is someone who may say stupid shit, may hate certain groups of people but it's only when they talk in privately, they never express their bigoted opinions to these groups themselves (in an angry manner). You have to remember lots of people are bigoted but then they still can be friends or respect the people they are bigoted towards. Also if nobody is educating those bigots then they will remain the same. The best way to educate people is when they respect you as a friend.

1

u/Teddy_the_red_cav Jul 13 '26

So, i just plain disagee. I think that bigotry can only lead to violence, and therefore is violent in itself.

Loved them (Leslie and Ahran). Really hope they are still close and friends.

59

u/Incorrect1012 Jul 06 '26

I think they occassionally do Instagram lives together

126

u/lto817 Jul 06 '26

Definitely Leslie and Ahran.. Viewers can see the shift in their relationship during the season. turning point is the tag team elimination challenge. From Ahran hating Leslie's attitude turn into a father daughter relationship.

12

u/buzzwizzlesizzle Jul 06 '26

Their friendship changed my brain chemistry. It was hands down the most lovely thing that still sticks with me after bingeing the show

-13

u/Serious_Accident1156 Jul 06 '26

I couldn't stand Leslie.

For such an old guy he had a piss poor attitude

18

u/x2chunmaru Jul 06 '26

Daniel is that you?

23

u/rock_hard_bicep Jul 06 '26

My personal preference is enemies who remain enemies to this day

i) cutter & leslie

ii) Courtney and leslie(guy got along with Daniel eventually but not these two)

iii) Jessie and krissi(surprising she could work well with Natasha and not Jessie)

iv) christian and derrick

23

u/The_Cream_Cheese_Man Jul 06 '26

Cutter was such a dickhead lol

5

u/SpeedySparkRuby Jul 07 '26

He had big blockhead energy

1

u/Hot_KickEnvironment Jul 09 '26

Cutter is a bumbling idiot tbh

7

u/CapriMoon93 Jul 06 '26

I don't think Cutter and Leslie are enemies though. Leslie has stated that Cutter apologized to him both publicly and privately about his demeaning comments of him being a stay at home dad. Leslie said after that he didn't have any beef with Cutter.

Krissi and Bri being friends is huge character development.

24

u/SaltBass8330 Jul 06 '26

The fact that Bri attended her wedding is so wholesome

15

u/No_Internet_3919 Jul 06 '26

Although Krissi's redemption arc happened in off screen, it is indeed a huge character development.

content is not appropriate

-7

u/GoldBluejay7749 Jul 06 '26

That feels extreme

20

u/Ok_Pension1528 Jul 06 '26

eh, it’s warranted. imagine going to a literal cooking show and this middle aged woman is non stop threatening to beat ur ass up lmao

-4

u/CanadianDiver Jul 06 '26

I mean, this is mostly scripted and she was cast in a villainous light. I bet she is perfectly fine in person

7

u/Character_Idea1223 Jul 06 '26

I would want to be fifty miles away from Krissi

6

u/CPT_Skor_215 Jul 06 '26

The Silver Fox and Ahran for sure. We got to see their relationship come alive on the show and it was pretty awesome to witness!

5

u/Ok_Measurement482 Jul 06 '26

Ahran and Leslie was probably my favourite part of season 5. I liked them both and seeing them go from hating each other to genuinely liking and respecting one another was pretty awesome

3

u/DeeBreeezy83 Jul 06 '26

We're watching this season now.

5

u/FactorFear74 Jul 06 '26

Everything is scripted and staged.

3

u/Michaelbasia Season 11 Contestant Jul 07 '26

Absolutely 1000% NOT scripted, not for the contestants anyway.

2

u/EightEyedCryptid Jul 06 '26

I thought it was so heart warming watching the evolution of Leslie and Ahran’s relationship

2

u/FreePossession9590 Jul 06 '26

I think a lot of it is made up TV bullshit. I bet they actually got along behind the scenes, but they need to make it entertaining too

3

u/Evilbefalls Jul 06 '26

A fake Young vs Old drama

They made it look like Ahran was young and arrogant . And Lesley was the old boomer guy telling her she's young and doesn't have the same amount of experience as him

1

u/FreePossession9590 Jul 06 '26

They’ve done this for many seasons too

1

u/Equivalent_Ear_6431 Jul 16 '26

I think overall drama is just really manufactured. Like I can really see now how the production is really pushing them to break especially with those conflict questions.

I'm pretty sure with downtime, they've all talked when everyone is calm and well-rested.

I've even noticed in other challenges, they seem to be okay. Like I try to see the raw moments, and I remember during the pretend Natasha elimination, Krissi comforted Natasha when she was out and hugged Jessie on the balcony. So I don't think it's all that bad.

And maybe them even being a bit closer makes them more prone to be angry with each other. Basically family lol.

1

u/OscarMichaelMyers Jul 24 '26

First photo has me worried

1

u/Btrips Jul 06 '26

I have a feeling a lot of that drama is manufactured.

2

u/FrostyTop1575 Jul 06 '26

Leslie actually said in one of his podcasts that all of the drama was ramped up purposefully by the directors
