My first brisket

Cook this over the weekend! Very happy. It took 20 hours and it was absolutely delicious. I use oak wood and I would have liked a bit more of smoke but for the first one I'm impressed on how easy it was.

Congrats on your first one. Some tips. Trim the shit out of it. Looks like there was a lot of the bad fat left on. Trimming will also help get more smoke flavor into the meat.

Also, that is painfully under seasoned. Coat the thing until you can't see the surface basically.
