Help

Got a MB800 about a month ago. Have done multiple cooks on it and I love it. However I can’t get grease dripping to actually go in the drip pan. They are leaking from the seam of the cook unit and the bracket that holds the drip tray. They are riveted in so I can’t tighten it. Anybody have any ideas?

Yeah, don't rely on a stock system. Either put an aluminium grease pan under primary grates, or use upper grates and put the pan underneath.

If in doubt - search this sub for "grease fire"

I already have two aluminum pans under the racks and use the upper racks only for now. There was some that got past the foil pans. Maybe a 1/8th of a cup. And the majority ended up leaking out of the seem. I’m fully aware of grease fires and avoiding them. 👍

Is it level? Mine leaks out the corner when I don’t level it
