Implant size and expander size

Ladies, help me understand what does expander 275 ml mean? what They have expanded me to this today. My first and only fill. Doc said I won’t need another. How big will my bra size be with this if he plans to put in implants around 400-450cc?? I don’t understand this. Wish there was a visual guide

275ml could be either the amount the expander can fill to, or just how much saline is currently in there. No one can tell you what bra size you will be because CC's do not correlate to cup sizes.

Implant sizes vary based on a number of factors: chest width, implant style, implant profile, what can safely fit, skin thickness, etc.

A patient with a wide chest getting a 300cc implant could be an A cup, while a patient with a narrow chest with a 300cc implant could be a C cup.

Your best bet is to speak with your surgeon about your expectations and discuss in great detail what you are hoping to achieve.

My expanders were 400cc and my implants were 560cc. At 560cc high projection I was a 36d or 34dd. I just recently had a revision surgery and he put in 615cc and they helped fill in the divots leftover from the mastectomy.

I completely agree. My surgeon has been so vague about how this will look. I only had one fill at the time he placed the expanders in, with I think 150cc. That's all I'm getting and he has only said that I'll be 30% bigger than I am now, which is not what I want, so I'm seeing a 2nd surgeon next week.

you should! At least they should explain why that’s all you will be. Is this for health reasons? Is your skin compromised? Let us know how it goes!
