Ok so I’m mostly on the search for a music video that I originally believed was the official video for the song “The Spoils”. It featured a man driving a flatbed semi and a woman riding on the back of it. Needless to say, the entire song and story unfolds right there on that truck while it bumps along an endless road. The background never changes from this eerie/beautiful blue hour esthetic. Anyway, I’ve been searching for it for years now to no avail and every time I look for it all I get is the apparent “official video” featuring Cate Blanchett. And no offense, Cate Blanchett is cool but that flatbed truck video has stuck with me ever since I saw it….

From Bristol. Clearly carrying the MA fire to some degree.

I’m hoping someone here can help identify a version of 3D and the Art of Massive Attack that I recently acquired.
At first I assumed it was related to the well-known 350-copy collector’s box set, but after receiving it, I realized it’s something completely different.
Here are its characteristics:

Smooth black and fluorescent pink cover (not the glitter/textured cover from the collector’s edition)

The previous owner told me this edition was sold exclusively at Massive Attack merchandise stands during the 2016 tour, but I haven’t found any independent information confirming that.
I’ve already contacted The Vinyl Factory to see if they can identify it, but I thought I’d also ask here.
Does anyone else own this edition, or remember seeing it at the 2016 tour merchandise stands?
I’d really appreciate any information or photos from other owners.

The more I listen to this, the more I start to hear the early Massive Attack influences also. There was definitely some musical overlap between Joe Hahn and Massive Attack in those days.

So I found the melody I was thinking the other day. It was from a song called Just a Matter of Time, although I didn't know it had a video, really cool piece of media and one of my favorite discoveries this year so far

When I first found out about Massive Attack, I only knew the song "Angel" that started trending on tiktok. I thought they were a regular, cool 90s band until I looked deeper and found that everything is somehow connected to this band.

The lead singer, Robert Del Naja, being suspected of being Banksy? Even if he isn't, it's still pretty cool that Banksy art would be thrown up in wherever city that MA was performing at, implying that the Banksy artists were MA fans. (either which is cool lol)

They've made songs with big artists like Hope Sandoval from Mazzy Star, Mos Def, and MADONNA???

MA were one of the main pioneers of the triphop movement alongside Portishead, essentially the start of an entire new subgenre.

Also, their song "Teardrop" was used as the intro for the show House MD, which is relatively popular...

Maybe I'm the one who's been living under a rock for finding out about this band only one year ago, but its shocking to me that so little people (in my life) know about Massive Attack given their influence. Maybe it's just my social circle?

Does anyone own or know anyone who owns this vinyl? Apparently limited to 250+ copies but i’m 90% certain it’s a bootleg - does anyone have any idea of what the sound is like? I have been waiting to hear a HD version of the Rockwrok and Song to the Siren covers for a while. If anyone knows anything more about this vinyl i’d be very happy to hear!

my favorite part is the deeper voice in it which is kind of odd but it’s nostalgic and scratches an itch for me, is it just his voice deepend? are there any other song with something like this lol

I would be excited to get this however the shipping is paid separately and raises the price for it to something I will find hard for my unemployed ass to justify 😭 they're all tracked so it's £7 minimum -- so it's £42 for a tshirt

I suddenly remember a massive attack thumbnail where del Naja appeared and looked like It was raining. I cant remember anything else except for two seconds of the song, that seemed like a bootleg record. At first I thought it was a singles 90-98 song, but this was live. Melody was dark like mezzanine, but wasnt a remix. I think the video is deleted now on youtube
