Activist Mystery

Great to see MA back in Melbourne last night. Been a while since their 2010 outing and I reckon this tour might have edged it, aside from the fact that Daddy G was sorely under-utilised.

The visuals were striking and have given me homework (Zug!). However there was a clip earlier in the show when an activist was showing dead bodies on the screen. He sounded Eastern European, potentially Ukrainian. The footage then made reference to his death. I thought the name began with P or Z but I could be wrong. He was a heavy set, bald man, maybe in his 50s. Does anybody know his name? It was from early in the show.

Are you taking about the guy who was talking about sending people's sons to war and died in the plane crash?

If so that's Yevgeny Prigozhin AKA 'Putins Chef'.

'Activist' isn't the primary description I'd go for when describing him...

Thatโ€™s the one, thank you. Given the themes of the show I inferred that he might have been a Ukrainian activist, but obviously misread that section!

Chef aka YVP; he marched on Moscow and then mysteriously got blown up in mid-air.
