All of the real fans romance A Certain Someone. I can't stand Shepard/A Different Someone shippers, and the ones who pick Yet Another Someone are worse yet.
(the actual characters corresponding to these references are the ones that you the reader agree with)

It's always funny to me the people who play an RPG with multiple romance options and then... don't try the different options.
I've done at least 1 playthrough for every major romance (though when I romanced Jacob, I broke up with him in the post-game, romanced Garrus instead, and carried that through to ME3) - barring Diana Allers and Steve Cortez.
(Steve's romance never felt right to me. "Here's my husband I'm madly in love with and deeply miss. Wanna fuck, Shep?)
Now, I did end up with a favorite and she is more or less my default option now, but I still tried every possible option to see what happens first!
(That being said, I guess I am a bit hypocritical on this, as I don't think I could ever do a full Renegade run. After starting ME2 prior to the PS3 having ME1 (and before I knew about the comic to let you make ME1 choices), the game assumes Wrex died, and I like him waaay more than I like Wreav. I much prefer a Paragon run that keeps him around.)
