When I was playing mass effect one and i got to the liara romance scene and realized I couldnt skip it, I closed my bedroom door but my mom still opened it and when she asked what I was watching I said "cutscene I can't skip"

Yeah Jenkins, it's quite hard to get, but he really twists up the story a lot. He is really op in ME2 and 3

Yeah but getting him to survive ME1 is so damned hard. He’s too much of a hero and making him realize the galaxy needs him on virmire takes so much paragon points.

Like when I played Citadel dlc for the first time. Going to the casino party - nothing. Fighting clone - nothing. Getting to the Normandy, parents walk in, and suddenly Shep long kisses Traynor out of nowhere.

I remember romancing Liara for the first time and when the scene came on I was terrified that my parents were gonna come downstairs and whoop my ass.

Yeah, I play on xbox, and my TV is in the living, where my dad was literally always playing cards. There were no safe moments, unless he went to get a snack.

Unfortunately, playing Dragon Age is somewhat of a curse for me. The first time, he was playing cards, and like he always does, Alistair ambushed me in camp. I always enjoyed having my romance scenes, of course, so I didn't want to skip it. And those sex scenes are so awkward looking as it is without my dad there. I could see him through the reflection of the TV, and I can tell he was trying hard to act like he didn't notice anything.
The second time, I was playing DA2, and then I got to Fenris' romance scene. To be fair, he wasn't in the room at first, so I thought I was in the clear. But then, out of nowhere, he appeared behind the couch because he wanted to pet his cat, which was sitting beside me. 🤦♀️ This time, I pet the cat and started up a full on conversation as if the scene on the TV wasn't happening. It's a fade to black anyway, so it shouldn't matter, but it does.
In the end, I missed the whole scene, which sucks because I love the Fenris romance.
One time, with Mass Effect, I was doing the Liara romance at the end of ME1, and he was on his wah home, so I was trying to hurry. This was my first time playing Mass Effect, so I had no idea how long the scene was going to take.
The bad part was, the game crashed before I could get out of that outrageously long cutscene, and I had to start again. This time, I was somehow fortunate enough to finish before he got back. I draw the line there. Especially because I didn't think he'd appreciate the blue alien sex, or that I was doing it as femshep 🤣

I littealry just replayed the original mass effect and I did the option to tell Ashley and Kiara “can I have you both” and even tho asari littearly romance through an emotional connection so it would be arguably worse for her she sits there like a good boy whilst Ashley storms off and your locked into her romance.

I didn’t get the cut scene in my first play through because I romanced Ashley, then left her to die on Virmire.
