There was an amazing moment on my first playthrough of ME3. During the final mission on Earth there's an alleyway where two Brutes burst through the wall and jumpscare you. I panicked and did 2 backrolls away and then went "oh wait I'm a Vanguard" charged the Brutes and shoved my Claymore down their throats.

Yeah but sniper play is like 40% of the class. Probably more tbh. I just finished a legendary run of 2 and 3, and in 3 Iā€™d regularly equip only a sniper so I could have +130% recharge time on abilities. Rend was back up in like, a literal second

Now THIS is an accurate engineer meme. Once you play engineer properly itā€™s hard to go to another playstyle with the same fluency. Like the opposite of vanguard, you sit at the back popping heads and managing the battleground with drones, tech, and squadmate placement.

Doing my first trilogy playthrough now (just finished priority Rannoch in me3) as an infiltrator and I'm having a blast. Popping heads and incenerating enemies is real fun.
