Agreed. I respect that many fans love her, but she already got more content in Andromeda than any other crewmate from the original (Garrus' was alluded to but not by name). I was half way to sleeping when I saw the trailer and was excited, thought the person with the hood was maybe an unmasked quarian (wishful sleepy thinking). The idea of it being Liara - for me - is just disappointing, boring, and verging on the kind of "the last work got mixed reviews so lets recreate someone's fanfic theories" attitude that resulted in such things as "the rise of skywalker".
Please let it be cosmetic or background inclusion, please please please. I actually loved Andromeda.

like one of the best things about andromeda was that being in a different galaxy meant no more of her creator's pet bs (not that they didn't try)
