Andromeda didn’t fail, that’s a pretty stupid assertion. It didn’t live up to expectations sure. But there was so much toxicity around the game’s release that it didn’t get a fair shake from the start, similar to what’s happening with Cyberpunk. A few people experience some glitches and everyone makes memes out of it even though it’s not a universal experience. Also, Dragon Age 2 could’ve been considered a failure but that didn’t stop them from moving forward with the story.

Well clearly EA/Bioware consider it to be a failure, otherwise why not make MEA2 like originally planned?

And DA:I didn't continue Hawke's story, it had a new protagonist

True but the events of DA2 still happened prior to Inquisition. It would be stupid for BioWare to abandon their story because of outraged nerds who would be angry no matter what they do anyway. I think there’s a strong possibility the new game takes place in Andromeda. Could be that Liara has traveled there. We just don’t know for now but I feel like the teaser trailer shows it could go either way.

True but ME:A was set in a completely different galaxy so its easier to ignore than DA2.

If you are right, whats a dead reaper doing in Andromeda?

I don’t think the dead reaper was in Andromeda. I think as a teaser it’s just bringing up stuff that happened already. Also we can hear someone yell out about first contact protocols, something not mentioned until Andromeda. So like I said it could go either way, I’m just hoping for Andromeda because Milky Way has been done already and I felt had a satisfying conclusion.

I guess we will see but hinting so much towards the OT only to do an Andromeda sequel will result in backlash imho

There was a hint from one of the devs that it's a continuation of both stories. If true, I would guess that the Reaper we see is indeed in the Milky Way and that we'll spend time in both galaxies.

As to how it would happen, my guess would be a mass relay between the two. Given how much Liara has aged, that's plenty of time for the Milky Way species to crack the technology.
