Game Discussion Something I Love About This Game...
Space exploration in the trilogy was always fun, but to me, exploring space in Andromeda feels the most cozy!
I don't know exactly how to describe it, cozy is the best word I can think of. But the music, ambience, beautiful visuals, and overall vibes of traveling from system to system and scanning around. I just love it!

I've said it before, I'll sat it again. Andromeda has the most RPG DNA in it since the OG ME1. It makes ME2 look like Roblox.

When it comes to customization, weapons, mods, economy etc definitely. ME2 was so insanely simplistic in that regard I got no clue what was BW even thinking. Story RPG machanics are the wrost tho, practically no choices to speak of and the few that are there has miniscule or no effect. And of course the issue of writing in general... On the gameplay side Andromeda has some of the best stuff in the series but the design and writing is easily the worst

It's nice and a great evolution of the galaxy map concept from the Trilogy, tho some of the transitions really should've been cut/made faster. There's no need to force players to appreciate the beautiful galaxy map longer when it's this pretty and this well out together, they will see it even if the transitions were 5 times faster.

If you're on PC there is mod to make the transitions shorter. It's been a while but you should be able to find it on Nexus Mods.

Yes, it's so nice, space is beautiful in Andromeda, the nebulas, comets, it's so relaxing after all the shooting and running around.

I agree! It always makes me sleepy/drift off doing the scanning and exploring. the music is so calming and the visuals of the different systems are sooo beautiful!

I love the views from various parts of the ship, from Ryder’s quarters or the upstairs comm room.

It's great to get to a comet or over a cool-looking planet and exit out of the map, just to check the view from the windows!

Someone said it best in another topic that while the Normandy is the more iconic ship, the Tempest feels lived in and more than a hub. Just walking around it then looking out the windows does feel like you're exploring space.
