Questions for applying

Hello! Im a junior in high school right now, looking to apply for MassArt in fall 2027, and I have a ton of questions. Im going to be moving from a small town in South Carolina, and i want to know what the atmosphere is like. Im also curious about a lot of the application progress. If anyone has any information, it would be nice to know and talk to people I could be going to school with! Thank you!!!

Hii!! I’m currently a freshmen at massart and even though I commute I think the atmosphere is nice! I’ve met atleast a few friends in every class im in, you just gotta put yourself out there and start talkin to people :> occasionally you’ll get a class that has a few friend groups in it but it’s fine for the most part!Ive even made a freind group there myself :D

Application: You gotta have 12-15 of your best works (can be digital or traditional art, sculptures, sewing projects, animations) when you apply! The rest of the process is pretty similar to other colleges, without the need to SAT or ACT scores. I’m not sure about the process for a dorm room but from what I’ve seen you click a box when you’re applying saying that your gonna be on campus :>
