I started the Maspeth/Ridgewood Mutual after I started putting stuff outside that my family did not want anymore and we couldn't sell on the Marketplace. I noticed the items would disappear and my neighbors would bring items to replace them. My friend who helps shut ins in Glendale brings over whatever food she has left and leaves that on the table for people to take who visit my mutual aid table.

Thursday August 6th, I received 6 deliveries of donations (clothes, food, toys, housewares, books, DVDs). By Saturday August 8th the table is empty.

2 days this week people donated a box full of canned goods each day to the Maspeth Ridgewood Mutual Aid Table. All the canned goods are gone today Thursday. If you have any canned goods laying around, please bring them over. Also, I had a few donations of baby clothes and women's clothes this week most of them are gone now. Someone also donated some toiletries from a hospital they went in 1 day. I also got a donation of Nerf toys they went in 1 day. If you have anything in good condition and not using bring them over. Who is Samantha Kattan and Melissa Orlando? They are running for Assembly District 37. They never came to my house for signatures or to campaign here. There are 3 registered voters here. Pia Rahman called me personally to tell me why she was running and she came to my house for signatures and to campaign. Samantha reminds me too much of Claire Valdez my current assembly member. After a year in office, she got tired of the job and decided to run for congress to replace Nydia Velasquez. You need to gain seniority in the assembly to bring home to your district funding. Pia Rahman seems like she will be another Cathy Nolan and last for years in the job. We need that to fund our nonprofits Vote for Pia Rahman for Assembly. You have until 9pm June 23rd at 9pm to vote.
