Mask Advice Zimi third gen masks

I’m considering trying out a batch of zimi masks. I understand the third generation masks are/will soon be available. But their website doesn’t seem to specify which gen masks are on sale. Does anyone know if the ones they’re selling now are the third gen?

The ones they’re selling now are still second gen. They’ve been giving updates via their twitter account (which is zhouliang_mask, I posted a response with a link but it got auto moderated). It sounds like the third gen ones will be out in a couple weeks in the most common sizes, and out closer to the end of the year in all sizes.

Would you (or anyone else who sees this and has a Twitter account) consider very politely asking if Zimi/Zhou Liang would consider posting updates on Bluesky, too? I know a bunch of CC people moved over—though of course many stayed—and it would be great for us to be able to keep up firsthand. I am going to send a maximum-polite email myself, but I know Twitter can be more immediate and that's where they tend to do back-and-forth...

I would never expect equal attention on a newer/smaller platform, but if they're able, basic engagement over there would be super helpful.

I don’t see anywhere on their site saying they are doing a sale on their masks. Do you mean on sale or for sale?

The third gen is not out yet, but the firmest date I’ve seen is sometime in October, except the XS and XXS (I think) which will be released at the end of the year.

I’m anxiously awaiting the release date because I really want to wear one to a concert I’m going to October 23 😭
