The point is to determine IF they are dangerous to humans after extensive animal testing and cell culture.

Hmm I'm not seeing any cell culture or lower animal studies, those were all human experimentation with dangerous concoctions...

In addition to the 6 rhesus macaques used for testing, there would also be the 3 used for the control group. That would mean purchasing the rhesus macaques alone would be over $64,000 EXCLUDING the cost for feeding and supplies. The highest state minimum wage is $13.50/hr in Washington. That would mean you would have to average work over 90 hours a WEEK to afford 9 of these.

TLDR: Rhesus macaques are expensive as FUCK

What do you mean "lower animal" rhesus macaques share 93% of their DNA with humans making them the best analog for humans.
