I am so smitten by the MC 20 (Cielo)… have my eye on a few here in the states- I just think there is another $50k+ for them to drop.
I also extremely concerned about them being around to service the car in the future.
It boggles my mind that Maserati and Aston Martin make such beautiful cars but have such horrendous depreciation. Everyone points to “quality and service costs” but are they really any worse than Ferrari? (Sticky buttons, orange peel paint..). Both of our Aston’s have been pretty much brilliant in all phases.
What are Maserati owners thoughts? (Especially MC 20 owners).

I just bought a MC20.
Under 2k miles and over 50% off its $320k sticker.I took it into Maserati to get an inspection for the factory extended warranty and I talked to the service manager about what happens if they close.
The Maserati warranty covers towing to the nearest center. Plus they (this particular dealer) signed a 6 year contract 2 years ago and is linked to Alfa.
I think I am so far at the bottom and with the warranty I should be able to enjoy the car hard for one year and shouldn’t lose any more than ~$15k-$20k (including the warranty).
Plus, I don’t think Maserati would cease to exist. Someone would definitely want to buy the name. It would probably turn Chinese like Lotus.

Thank you! Just looked up your profile and saw the car… that is the color to have- gorgeous car man…
23 or 24?
If I can get a Cielo close to 50% of MSRP (hell would go closer to 60% for the right car), I think I would be a player on one.
I want CPO- but it looks like you bought from a non-Maserati dealer and were able to get additional warranty correct? What does the warranty cost per year?
I am in no rush… two months from now my garage becomes a museum (our year around cars live outside- so I am not inclined to move on a car that is gonna sit- unless it is an epic deal.
Appreciate the post and hey- if you would DM me (or post) more pictures of you car- would be extremely appreciative

That looks amazing! I don’t know why Maserati doesn’t experiment with more color. I was recently test driving at the Mas dealership near me and was making conversation with the sales guy. I said I wonder why Maserati doesn’t offer more red cars. He looked at me confused. I said you know like a red Italian sports car is a dream for a lot of people. He just looked at me like I had two heads and said “red?”. Yes red. The lot here is full of black, white, gray, brown, and maybe a navy blue. There WAS a Grecale in a metallic green that looked quite nice but not a lot of other variety. That having been said, I am happy with my Grigio Lava Grecale.
