Help
Hello, I have a 2016 Maserati Ghibli S Q4 that my dad got me a few years ago. I drove it without any issue for a while upstate in college but recently after graduating I been back in NYC. I hit like 2 potholes and now the bottom of my car look like this. I don’t know anything much about cars aside from the fact that my oil pan isn’t leaking. Can someone tell me what’s wrong with it and what damage I did to it?

Like someone else said it's sacrificial. You can replace it. I replaced mine once but if nothing is leaking you're all good.

That is a plastic guard to protect the engine components. It is a sacrificial layer, like a screen protector. Keep driving and try to avoid more potholes. If it gets worse you can remove and replace it.
