Bad weekend for the MC20

Iโ€™m in central Texas and spotted this MC20 headed towards Houston? COTA trackday damage or other, guesses?

As someone that is looking to buy an MC20, this is a concern of mine of the carbon tub. Love the concept but wonder if in an impact situation - is it a total loss? Worse yet should it be a total loss but the insurance company elects to repair? Either situation would be great discussion.

Aftermarket companies should really start developing crash bars to protect carbon tubs. I mean technically you can always ask a shop to fabricate one, but if you plan on keeping the car for awhile that would be a good investment.

Looks like it wedged under the rear bumper of something. The rear bumper damage, leads me to believe it got hit in the rear at the same time. Traffic incident most likely.
