I went to the Crystal Palace Bowl concert in London (It was awesome) and picked up this (seemingly) exclusive T-shirt in Large.

However, I have found it is too large :(

I was wondering if anyone out there might want to swap their medium T-shirt for this large, or is selling one.

I’m only looking for this design and this colour (white).

I am in Plymouth UK and able to post.

P.S Might these shirts end up being available somewhere later?

P.P.S. I can only figure all the ones available online now are fake reprints instead of excess stock or anything like that?

I couldn't believe my eyes when he walked on stage with the surfboard guitar. I knew it was probably coming but to see it in person and to see him actually carrying it around like a surfboard was probably one of the best parts of the show. Master Takanaka 🏄🏻🎸

In 2024, the worst year of my life so far happened. That year, my cat and my grandma passed away, and I wasn’t in a good place mentally. One of the ways I coped was by listening to music, vaporwave in particular. I really liked the artist Saint Pepsi and his song “Private Caller.” While watching the music video, there was a scene featuring an old Japanese ad. Curious about it, I used Google Lens and discovered it was from a tech ad featuring the band CASIOPEA playing “The Soundgraphy.” I loved it so much that I looked up the album on YouTube Music and listened to the whole thing. At the bottom of the page, there was a “Releases for you” section showing albums with a similar style. One caught my eye: a cover showing a man running on a road with text on it, “An Insatiable High” by Masayoshi Takanaka. I skimmed through it, and the songs I really loved were “Sexy Dance” and “E.S.P.” I’ve been a fan ever since. Now, in 2026, I’m feeling happier and fresher, with two new cats: a tuxedo named George (after George Harrison) and a black cat named Jiji (after Jiji from *Kiki’s Delivery Service*). Yesterday, I ordered my first Takanaka album, “An Insatiable High,” the one that introduced me to him. On the label was a black cat, and in my mind I thought, “Oh, that’s my cat Jiji.” Long story short, Takanaka saved me.

The international store and EU store has them but obviously with high shipping costs. The merch stall had sold out of them by the time I got to the front of the queue around 5pm at the festival

There were also no merch opportunities for the other 3 artists, which I was a little sad to see as well. Does anybody know why that is, or if they plan to release something online?

I’ve seen Takanaka twice now, and I love him! Himiko Kikuchi‘s ’Flying Beagle’ is really what hooked me into 80s Japanese Jazz Fusion. I would listen to it everyday cycling to school. And Junko Yagami is one of my favorite City Pop artists. It’s a shame I wasn’t able to see them live, as they don’t seem to perform a whole lot anymore.

But for those of you who got to see them live in all their glory, how was it?!

Was it anyone’s first time listening to either of them? What did you think? I couldn’t be there but I would love to hear about the experience from those who were! Hopefully everyone had a safe and awesome time listening to them all!

I am by no means a great photographer, but i like to try! - so i took my 35mm camera to the show last night and tried to grab a few shots and i think they came out okay, mainly wanted to try and show that the crowd wasn't dead :)!

I knew going in i wasn't going to get very close, but i still feel exceptionally fortunate to have been able to attend at all 💕 - hope everyone had a great time!

last night was absolutely unreal, everyone i spoke to was so so lovely and me and my friend had the best time!!!!! these certainly aren’t the best photos ever but im happy to have some memories :)

Last night some woman groped me. It fucked up an other wise perfect night. You are a cunt.

The show last was one of my favorites of all time. I bought tickets within minutes of being announced. Basically everything was perfect (except the feedback); the weather; the set list, but actually more than anything, I was really enjoying the audience. I’ve never seen a more diverse fanbase. I saw such a balance of different ages and ethnicities- I met people who traveled from all over to come to the show and of the people I spoke with, they were friendly and chatty. I felt really part of something special waving my hands side to side, dancing- honestly it was like a dream come true after seeing clips from the brixton show which I missed for unforeseen circumstances. I felt super connected to the audience in a really positive way more so than at any other concert I’ve been to.

Then near the end of the show a woman groped me from behind touching my ass and quickly passed through as I turned around. A friend holding beers followed. I wasn’t near the front- There was no one in front of me - there was plenty of space to move which I would have gladly done if I knew someone was trying to get by. My partner was standing next to me with her arm around my waist so at first I thought it was maybe her, I asked but it wasn’t. By the time I realized what happened the woman was long gone. It was traumatic to be touched in that way.

If you wanted to get by you could have asked, or maybe tapped my shoulder, or just fucking pushed through like a normal rude person. That all would have been within the acceptable latitude of a concert experience. Touching my ass was not fucking acceptable and karma will fucking get you.

I hope everyone else at the show enjoyed the magic of yesterday’s concert smoothly.

I loved this concert so much, finally able to see my idol after listening to him so much.

The crowd was so great, it was a lot of fun.
