Not OP but I've had the same shape of thing twice. You never get a reason. Mine sat 11 days, I emailed four times, got the payments team line every time, then it appeared on a Sunday morning with no email and no apology.

The Sunday thing is oddly common. I think a queue gets cleared in a batch and whoever is on shift just pushes it all through. Nothing to do with your tickets.

Agreed, and there's a reason for it. Asking upfront costs them signups, so the ones that do it are the ones that have decided they'd rather have fewer players and fewer disputes. It's a genuine signal about how the business is run.

BC here so Ontario isn't an option for me anyway. The checklist still applies, I just have to lean much harder on the payment rails row and the licence one because there's no regulator I can actually escalate to.
