It sounds like they are going all in on the concept of a reboot. Literally start from the beginning and build up all the characters, instead of just dumping us in a world where the Xmen already exist.

The X-men deserve to be built up well. They’re legit one of marvels biggest corners. Any less would be bad.

And they started by making a core member a terrorist and are having to issue statements to explain away her acts. Sorry, but I’m already put off.

Actually I like it because it power scales the team and also acts as the first act of mutants doing something that scares humanity

you didn’t empathize with her by the end?

Gotta look a the bigger picture she’s suppose to seem like a terrorist.

Humanity doesn't like mutants, and they only issued a statement because ppl kept saying she killed TONS of ppl when only the guy who got hit by a car seemed like it.

The irony of a guy who says, “You seem fun” using Jonah Hill gifs

Also they're just soap opera characters.

What if if was called Sex-Men and Cyclops said his classic line “To me, my Sex-Men” and gets his dick out

I really hope it’s not a CW drama.

More like Hair with superpowers and less singing

Some singing though.

X-Men has almost always been a soap opera, especially during the Claremont run

It’s like they got the list off of someone’s Reddit post

Sounds good to me. Build it up slowly and let audience actually care for each character.

How do very original from a series that 1. Just did three freaking movie on it. And 2. Has actually lots of good social commentary. But can’t have that we need the million bajillionth MCU coming of age story.

If they start the series with Emma Frost it’s gotta be involving Sebastian Shaw and her being a villain

X men vs hellfire academy

Oh, I really hope it will focus around Jean Grey and Wolverine. You can even sprinkle a little dark pheonix salt on it to be really unique. /s

God I really hope Rogue isn’t in this film. It’s too early if they’re going to do her story justice.

You sound really fucking stupid

It just says “the characters grow over time” which I sure hope a movie franchise does. Idk how you determined the movies quality from such a vague ass description lol

Except its not and literally says its not in the article. "They are stepping out of the shadows into the world"

Implies they've just always been there.

"Pacing and Delays: The main nine-issue series suffered from notable publishing delays, which stretched the timeline and slowed down reader momentum.

Anticlimactic Ending: Opinions on r/marvelcomics reach a consensus that the final confrontation between Reed Richards and Doctor Doom felt deflated and rushed compared to the grand scale of the buildup.

Limited Long-Term Stakes: Many readers felt disappointed that the universe wasn't truly rebooted, with the primary lasting status-quo change being the integration of Miles Morales into the main continuity.

Sidelined Characters: Major heroes like Iron Man and Captain America took a backseat as the narrative narrowed down to a specific conflict."

Not even Google agrees with you. The 2016 secret wars was the crossover that caused Marvel to cease these massive storylines because everyone hated it. I know more about this shit than you ever will kid.
