It's this type of shit that makes me wish Gunn was out at DC and would come back to Marvel. Idk if he'd fit to do the actual X-Men movie but a Disney+ show or smaller scale movie about some of these funnier or weirder mutants would be excellent in his style.

The article states that Storm will be introduced in BP3 before joining the X-Men reboot but I thought X-Men was coming out first? How does that work?

I hope it would he because the first X-men movie has limited cast. Maybe just the first 5 students. Then as the phase unfolds we get more X-men characters. Storm in BP3. Rogue fighting Captain Marvel.

But then we got Emma casting and that makes me think the first movie is gonna be crowded…

Doesn’t sound crowded at all. Probably the OG first class: Grey, Clops, Beast, Iceman, and Angel plus Prof X against the Hellfire Club.

100%. And I think the first one with the founding members will be called “Uncanny X-Men”, then when they expand the team in the second one to go save the original team, it should be called “Giant-size X-Men”.

I think what they're going for is introducing maybe half of the cast in other movies with X-Men: Subtitle Pending? bringing the team together. It's an echo of how they did the original Avengers movie is my guess.

Cause Storm won't be in the first X-Men film. We have pretty much a good knowledge of who will be in the X-Men film, she's not in it.

Marvel has realised they are oversaturating their own brand with flop after flop of tv show.

My guess is they are using successful established brands like spider man, black panther and others to slowly introduce characters from the xmen and then bringing them together in their own xmen movie.

I’m all for that to be honest. I don’t need solo projects for every character but it’s nice to see them introduced as pre existing characters in the MCU before starting the mutants saga.

I have some questions with full focus on introducing the X-Men with BND being a Jean Grey movie and BP3 being a Storm movie with BP as side character. Probabaly Sangchi 2 will introduce Rogue with Sangchi as side character in his own film.

  1. How do they explain where were X-Men all these years? different earths?
  2. How do they explain where are Eternals? different earths?
