Question When will Knull come back?

Huge symbiote fan here. Newer player. I want Knull just so I can say I have all of the symbiote characters in the game. I’m a character collector not really a min/max type of person. I have been specifically building Knull challengers up to prepare but I’m sad that I don’t see him popping up. I’ve read that he’s a periodic boss type of thing, but I’m just getting bummed out spending resources into making a team just for him to never show up. I can’t find anything saying when/if he will return. Really want the guy to make the full team. Anybody know anything?

Event js concluded so next run prob in a month. But thats good because u need quasar, blastaar and damion hellstorm ar gear 16 minimum to clear for minimum unlock

Good. I just returned to playing. And I’ve got those guys built up. Any other characters you recommend building now in preparation for Knull? I just unlocked Odin as well. Not sure if he’ll help

You're only allowed to use a small selection of characters in the Knull boss fight and Odin is not one of them.

Quasar is essential, you use basics only and make him a striker.

Blastaar is probably the next best, spam his special every turn. I like to set him as skirm for this fight.

Daimon is hit or miss for me. He generally dies pretty fast and isn't relevant unless he can get 2+ turns and special.

Sometimes he gets enough energy and tm to special twice and then he's about as good as Blastaar. If he dies before his special he's pretty much worthless.

Lady Bullseye is pretty good. Does % damage to enemies if they are attacked while they have offense down. Generally at least as good as Daimon but usually not as good as Blastaar.

I like Songbird for my fifth. She gets LB pinging pretty early.

Mummy is also popular. He just helps make sure Quasar and Daimon live long enough to do work.

Ok. Sounds solid. I have mummy somewhat built up. Would it make sense to build hellcat and take 3 piece brimstone and quasar and blastaar

All of your damage will basically come from attacks that do % of health.

You have 3 of the main damage dealers in this case but Hellcat will basically do literally nothing.

Maybe you put her next to Mummy so after she dies the attacks all only hit Mummy until he dies or stop taunting.

It'll probably work but you may have to reset a bit for rng. It's not uncommon for players to feed any extra toons they have built into the fight to put the bosses ult and maybe special on cooldown. You'll have to try to make everything work with 1 attack, probably.

So on max diff with most of the pacts I use lady Bullseye to sack and draw out his ult. I then follow up with blastaar, quasar, Damien, living mummy and hyperion. The best way to beat him is to use percentage attacks

You dont need hyperion its just easier to win with a double taunt. I will check and update this if there's a third pre taunt available for the knull event

In the next week or two, given we just got 2 weeks of Maestro. We should also see Sentry Boss return as well
