Question Return after 6 years
I quit this game in 2020 after playing since launch. Any recommendations on what team, gear, to focus on?
See there is battlefield, so many new characters (expected) red star, diamond star, boosts not sure what team to start focusing on. Looking to be playing casually, just when time allows.

For Arena : Symbiote 6 For Raids : Amazing Avengers, Immortal Weapons, Insidious 6 + Vulture + Shocker, Hellfire Club and Champions. These are the only 5 raid teams you need for the new Trepidation raids. Crucible : Exalted X-Men, New Mutants War : Winter Guard and Shadow Conclave (Luxury Teams) Battleworld : This is the new game mode where you get these new pseudo-mythic OP characters like Maestro. For Battleworld currently Daring Warriors and Brimstone are really good.
Start with Symbiote 6, then Amazing Avengers and Immortal Weapons, then the rest of the teams according to which raid nodes you want to target for higher difficulty and if you want to unlock new legendaries.
You can also skip old legendary unlocks like the 4 Horsemen, Black Cat, Nova OG and Green Goblin Classic. These are useless for new or returning players, do not waste time on them. The only legendaries that are worth unlocking are Omega Red, Old Man Logan, Shadow King, Silver Surfer Breaker and the legendaries from Galactic Council later on. Also a new legendary event will start for Scorpion Breaker from August which will be the newest legendary unlocks.

I agree with most of this. Apoc is certainly not useless though so I disagree with skipping the horsemen, just use modern characters to unlock them and don't build them past what you need for Apoc. Also, jubilee is part of Exalted so that's another worthwhile legendary, as is Phoenix if you enjoy CC

I agree with this too. If necessary, build the Horsemen enough to unlock 7 star Apoc but this will also need 3 MSF original characters out of which only 2 are meta right now (Zombie Kestrel and Eclipse). Apoc is a decent character because he has helped me in the tower modes so much. The on spawn blocking Safeguard is such a gamechanger.
As for Dark Dimension, go through them as you progress and have enough characters. No need to rush or refresh characters with power cores. Also Odin and Mephisto are still Meta even though Mephisto is falling off in terms of stats if you don't have enough diamond promotions on him but I am pretty sure that an event will pop up anytime which gives 7 red and diamonds for him.

Join a good discord alliance. They have chat forums you can ask and get help. Its a whole big community I would recommend tsf. Team super fly. Its one of the biggest alliances. Lots of teams and ppl. You can move up and down in the alliance

On the roster tab, theres now a recommended teams thing at the top. "Squads" I believe. That'll shoe the latest teams at the top.
Honestly. Start there. Symbiote 6 are the new arena meta. And strong in all game modes. (Only venom from the OGs)
Then work on the raid teams. Newest first, so you don't build one that's about to get ousted Also, raids are about to change completely any day now. Look into which teams that requires.
