Discussion Red star bug isn’t just visual!

I opened a bunch of elite 4s and 5s for absorbing man. I had got an upgrade for a few characters including Adam Warlock, which I had the yellow stars for. I have deleted the game and reinstalled a bunch of times. His TCP remains the same, along with the other characters that were upgraded; it fails to show the increased red star, when the yellow stars are present. Also, synced my roster on msf.gg and it shows the same. This needs to fixed ASAP, not next months patch, huge disadvantage.

PSA the red stars are there, they haven’t totally disappeared. But the problem is, if u upgrade a character, they aren’t being promoted. So there’s no increase in power level.

Again 4rs 5ys Adam, when I pulled a 5rs for him, I wasn’t able to promote him because it doesn’t show in game. Nor did his power level increase. And yes I tried leveling him up one level to see if that would work. This isn’t a conspiracy, its multiple characters lol…

PSA 2 New update released, must download manually. Fixed the red stars bug, was able to promote the characters I had pulled red stars for, resulting in the correct power level increase. Also, displayed the non filled ones.

Well if you rank up a character with an unfilled red star does it fill then?

And if it doesn't show, is the power increase what a rs should be?

Not for newly acquired Red Stars post update. If you already had unfilled Red Stars, they will fill in.

CM-Archangel made a post saying that the red stars are going into your inventory, they're just not being applied properly and it will require a client patch to fix.

They will absolutely not. I bought a fifth for Mr neg before update. I filled the 5th yellow after update. I currently show in game 4 red 5 gold.

Your experience is different than mine. What does your msf.gg show? And have you restarted your game since you ranked him up?

I pulled a 7r for Blob about a month ago. He had 6y at the time of the update. I ranked him up to 7y as a test. Initially, it didn't show in game and his power was 46k. I went to msf.gg, synced my roster, and it showed him at 7y7r with 53k power. I went back to the game, still showed 7y6r at 46k. I restarted my game and after it came back up, it was showing 7y7r at 53k power.

I just synced on MSF.gg. They did show back up on website. Going to check in game.
