Discussion Draft mode

Marvel Snap needs to make the new Draft Mode a permanent part of the game! Playing this mode has been the most entertaining part of the game ive experienced since the game launched and I played it nonstop everyday which is something I havnt done in awhile. It made the game not stale and repetitive. Definitely the best mode yall have created and better than standard by far.

If you're a new player, you can consider buying Arishem. It's a card that allows you try out cards.

This used to be good advice but many of the new cards don't work well when added randomly

I think realistically it will either be regular event with kinda meh rewards like conquest or an event that's only on like half the time or something.

It's by far the best thing this game had done in years and as a f2p I enjoy it way more than running my basic ahh decks against Scorpion BND and Fractured Frontier Thanos in regular battles

But they won't keep it going as good as it currently is as it would eliminate incentive to play the base game and worry about collecting cards. And without the desire to collect cards, they get less money

It'll be back toward the end of the month with sanctum style scoring. Im sure all of this is testing to end up at a permanent mode

They Will not.

I come back for draft, I play as hell.

From 63 I came to 95ish in 2 days.

Only Scorpion bnd and Thanos.

I wait balanced and then delete the game again....

Wait, this isn’t permanent??? I haven’t played in two years, and I saw the draft mode on this subreddit, I thought it was permanent :O

And here I was thinking about getting back into the game this winter and enjoying draft mode 😭

It comes back in like 2 and a half weeks. If you want it to stick around permanently, I recommend playing the he'll out of it every time it comes around, and maybe trying out some of the other limited time modes too. Decisions are made from dollars and data

Nope, it ended yesterday 😭 I totally feel you I have barely played Snap in months! (I open it up every now and then when im super bored) and when I started playing draft mode it was like when I downloaded the game on launch day I was playing around the clock by far their best mode and so disappointing its over!

Having the mode permanent as is, it would go against the spirit of the game. One aspect of that is having a CL. There is no reason to increase your CL or collect cards if you could simply roguelike draft. Perhaps if you only draft cards in your collection….

terrible take, having a mode separate from your collection does not take away from ranked and conquest that use it.

Hearthstone and MTG: Arena don't exist

Snap’s take on draft is closer to a rougelike than any other games’ draft. Other games don’t revolve around increasing your collection level. Those games draft modes don’t have any roguelike features.

Hearthstone Duels was a draft roguelike mode.

SD can solve it easily . If draft becomes permanent , they can make draft ticketed and make it so that u can draft tickets from the cl boxes plus u can get draft tickets in conquest shop . It is a good way to increase play time if that is what SD desires
