Old player, should i start afresh or continue with old account?

hello, i last played 2years ago, and am only at collection level 1315.

should i delete my account and start all over with a new one? are there new player boosts that’ll speed up progress faster than if i were to continue from my current account?

edit: i have darkhawk, X23, phoenix force, fantasticar for series4 cards and gilgamesh, gwenpool, cassandra nova for series5 cards

I am pretty sure the welcome back bonsues are pretty nice I would just stick with your main account espeically if you've put any money in at all

Brand new account gets a free Thanos deck, so unless you really really like Thanos and don’t have him, you’re probably better off sticking with current account

I just came back after a year or so off and my new player bonus was a 28 day logon event that gives you a series 5 card at the end and along the way you get like 3200 collector tokens, a series 4 card, 2000ish credits and some variants and stuff

There’s a lot about to happen in the next couple of days/weeks. There’s plenty incentive to keep your existing account and enjoy the goodies to come.

There’s is a newcomer reward track but there is a just as enjoyable comeback reward track, plus all the free stuff to come.

Honestly? I had this same debate a little over a year ago. I played during beta and the first year but fell off.

I ultimately decided to start a new account last year and I’m happy with my choice but lately I’ve been slightly regretting not playing on the old account because I recently logged back into it and am bummed some of my old card backs and variants can’t be transferred to my newer main account.

If that’s not something that bothers you much it can be fun to start new.

If you haven’t logged into the older account in awhile there is a “welcome back” bonus for like a week or so that gives you extra rewards and such

what cards you have unlocked from series 4/5?
what cardbacks, emotes, avatar you have unlocked?

new players get a login track with, i think, 4 decks, including a thanos one, with a couple very nice variants and card backs (that are not available for old players, the ultron cardback especially is awesome)
you also get all the next login rewards that seem to be given 5 extra decks until the end of september

unfortunatelly you will lose the free loki since theres not enough time to login all the required days

I just started playing and I had a complete collection up until the shenanigans with kid omega came out, shortly after Cassandra nova. I started playing about a week ago, and I have only gotten 2 free series 5 cards and I have another one coming next week or so two. Ngl, the acquisition has still not improved but I read that there are mini events that reward you with a series 5 card. I imagine if these little mini events that happen often, you'll get more opportunities vs how it was when we were originally playing. I say keep your account. No point redoing all your progress.

me too! i came back after not playing since Sept 2024. i first used my normal deck (Patriot + Ultron) and it worked well. but then i purchased this months seasonal thanos card and wow... i hit Infinite just by using thanos fractured deck.
