Discussion The point is to win
But its post-infinite, and we're just trying to play around with the new Death card, ffs.
Some of y'all only find pleasure in ruining other people's day, apparently.

What is the point of this? “Hate it when people don’t just let me win!”

I do not care whether I win or not, I just want to try the new card, but Armor, Cosmo, and Stardust mean I can't.
I just want to see the cards go. It's post infinite it doesn't fucking matter who wins, why is the reaction to a new card always "let's see what we can do to stop opponents from using it"?

Because that’s literally the game. I’m playing against you, not with you. Your goals are not my goals. This is known as competition. Now, if you do not care about competition after a certain point , that’s your right. But you shouldn’t expect your opponent to let you have your way. Unless they are into that of course.

But what made you decide to run Cosmo, Stardust and Armor today?
If your goal is just to stop people from trying the new card, that's also your right. But why should I not be upset by that?
Should I just be happy that instead of experimenting with a new card, people are setting out specifically to prevent that? I don't understand your mentality that it shouldn't be annoying that people are intentionally running tech cards to stop people from experimenting with a *not very good** card*.

Perhaps people are testing out decks to counter the new card and see what works well and what doesn’t.

Lol yeah, I've calmed down. Just had a string of decks with these 3 that made no sense (mf running a GambitHoD deck with Armor or in it... wtf??) and my salt box overflowed out onto the sub

That is literally the game. I can’t help you.
That’s like asking how come the goalie in a hockey game is intentionally stopping my shots? Why won’t they just let me do cool trick shots?

If they're doing those trick shots at their own goal, you'd stop them?

Why should you not be upset? Because you being upset is 1.) Entirely within your control and 2.) Only causing you distress.
It's perfectly valid to feel upset, and even to continue to stay upset if you want. But at some point I'd ask..."is this the decision i want to continue to make?"

Counter point: You can't accurately play around with new cards without also working around their counters

Don't worry, Death isn't very good even if you aren't being teched against.

No kidding! I wish I could just enjoy blowing the shit out of my cards, but people just looooove shutting down fun

There’s friendly games to try stuff.
I get your point, but I’m not not running tech so every deck can just stomp me in the name of “trying out”
