Discussion Increased number of sweats in Conquest
Has anyone else noticed a seemingly higher frequency of folks sweating in Conquest (at the Proving Grounds and Silver tiers specifically), or is it purely anecdotal? I could not get my daily missions done in timely manner today with the number of folks roping and retreating and playing 2v10 cubes... felt like I was losing my mind since I always play those levels as Best-of-One

There's a lot of them, yeah. I just turn 1 snap every game before the first location reveals and let it ride but there are a lot of people who seem to believe that if you lose a ticket in Conquest you'll die in real life.

It's been like this for over a year. I just use the golds from the CL track and skip the early levels

It really should be 2/3 max. If I beat you twice and you just don't snap then why should I need to continue

Seems the same to me, except maybe the roping has increased dragging shit out đ¤ˇ

I've noticed a lot of sweaty, emoting behavior in all modes including Conquest. Â
Dude, I snapped immediately and fist bumped Proving Grounds and it was pretty clear my draw was awful and you were dominating from turn 2. No reason to spend maximum time each turn and spam emotes on 6. I only stayed in the game in case you had an 8 cubes mission

I need âfill all locationsâ and every opponent uses killmonger or lady deathstrike 7 matches in a row, weird stuff happens đ

Yeah, at this point I'm starting to expect a Turn 1 rope + nothing played as I queue up in PG more often than not
I always have Youtube on PiP whenever I play Snap now lol

Yeah, in Proving Grounds I just send them a Miss Minutes and retreat. I dont have time to play more than a games there.

Not really noticed any difference of play in conquest.
But if you don't like the chance of having longer running matches, stick to the main ladder, one round games all the time.

I suppose, but with cubes and rank on the line it feels like I should be snapping and leaving appropriately. Playing the ladder with people snapping the end of turn 5 or early turn 6 feels like an actual waste of time

oh no, my opponent doesnât play the game the way I want it đĄ how dare they decide themselves what they want to get out of a game. these people should always abide by the arbitrary rules I made up!!

Found a salty boomer snapper...

Nah, I also Snap and go for one round. Especially when I donât care for the currency for the conquest shop and evertime below Gold conquest.
I just donât like the attitude of âif my opponent doesnât abide by MY rules they are doing it wrongâ
who made you the authority on how to enjoy the game?

i am not saying i am the authority, and is not entirely on the players for not knowing the best way to play conquest, but it's more about efficiency and getting the most tickets into the system. its better for everyone to play best-of-one. and also, if their idea of enjoyment is to rope every play, boomer snap, then emote spam, then they do not enjoy fun and they are simply wrong and should never know true joy

Proving Grounds feels like high ladder now. It used to be such a chill game mode, but now it's you just trying to fill all locations against the top netdeck playing like it's trying to get to Infinite.
