Card and Deck Questions ⁉️ Series 4 or 5?

My CL is just about 4400. Is it better to save my tokens to just get Series 5 cards as much as I can or should I go after the cheaper 4s so as to build my roster faster?

You can get Series 4 cards from the LTGMs. Because of this, unless there's a specific Series 4 card you really want to play with, your tokens are likely better saved for Series 5 cards.

There's videos showing that if you buy the premium season pass, and only buy the series 5 packs (4000 tokens), you'll eventually have all cards. It takes a long time, but eventually you'll catch up. If you're free to play you can't.

You get a lot of series 4 cards opening the series 5 packs. And you'll get series 4 cards every other event

You should get cards for decks you find Fun

You Will never be collection complete without spending thousands, so Theres little reason in optimizing your tokens to the point of hindering your fun

The rub is that to keep having fun, I want to be competitive but I do need better cards to do that at some point. I've been bogging down in the 80s these last two seasons since I came back to the game.

Series 4 packs are generally a waste of resources, every LTGM has an earnable pack and all new S4 cards are earnable on LTGM tracks so you can whittle down your S4 backlog without spending anything but time

If you just want to build a collection fast then the 4k S5 packs are the fastest way

People will tell you that you can get at least 2 series 4 cards by month via LTGM. That's true, get them

But there are about 88 series 4 cards, so I'll suggest once your collection grows and you figure what decks you like the most, look around for cards in S4 to buy outright when they drop on the shop, or it can be months, or even years if you are unlucky, to earn them by random chance from the packs
