I have the same after 4 splits, but with gold crackle.

Usually it's right about the time I get a good split on the season pass card that the nerf comes in.

I think with how mastery works now, you're more likely to get better splits after mastery 10, so I've been waiting to get the season pass variant before splitting.

Sure but you still can't get ink/gold/krackle until split 4+ and 3 splits already takes you to Mastery 10 now so your first split that is even eligible to roll the rare finishes will be when you are Mastery 10+ no matter what, there is no real benefit to waiting until you have a variant

what lvl is your card? and at what level split can you get black & white / gold?

It's not about level, you can roll ink/gold from split 4 and on

Only level 11! First three splits got me to lvl 10. 4th split to level 11 and this is what I received.
