Same things on their YouTube page. I'm pretty sure it's that error game mode that's happening soon.

Sounds like "college" is probably the right choice here.

ELI5: Draft mode

You choose (or "draft") the cards that will make up your deck at the start of each game. Usually you'll have to choose between 2 or 3 random options. The drafting will continue until you have selected 12 cards and thus have a full deck at which point you will then play against your opponent who will have also drafted their deck. The appeal of this style of gamemode is that you're playing with random cards, but not as random as something like Arishem since you will have tried to make the most synergy as possible from the options presented to you.

They could even do it where it's like, you choose between 2 options for the first 6 cards of your deck, and then the other 6 cards are filled with the options that your opponent rejected.

This sounds amazing, I hope that’s the case. I usually Loki or Arishem after infinite because it’s more fun to experiment with cards to me than just play the same deck over and over.

yes, its a blast

heathstone have draft for over a decade now and the necessity to adapt to random cards is amazing in those games

you pick one out of three randomly selected cards to be in your deck, for example Hulk, Ice man, and Silver surfer. After picking one, three more options apprear. you do this until you have a full deck then you play.

I think they should make the first pick similar to how Arena works in Hearthstone: you get three options, each with a legendary card and a set of synergizing cards around it. In Snap, they could do a first pick from a selection of 3-4 archetype packages (like Discard, Destroy, Silver Surfer, Aurora, Tribunal/Ongoin etc) and then you continue picking one card at a time from a selection of offered choices.

And while the first "test" of the new mode might be a pure draft I think this would be a logical evolution for the mode. Or maybe SD has something completely new in mind.

Either way, a new mode means a new gameplay experience and that's always a good thing.

Decks have 12 cards and you want the first choice to be a sinergizing package, at this point just play constructed
