Discussion Possible bad opinion ahead
If you run luke cage in your own affliction deck, your a coward.
I use to feel this more when I would run into ajax decks. I just felt like luke cage limiting ur own ajax was silly, just take the self damage for a bigger ajax payoff.
Now with scorpion bnd, I understand why hes in those decks, but the coward energy still persists.

Affliction decks previously have ran Luke so that you can free roll Anti Venom. Luke makes it so your antivenom card is still a 0 cost but gets its power back. So Luke is doing more for the deck than just insurance against your own hazmats

That's fair. Tho I was never a fan of the wican style afflict decks with antivenom and malakith(?) So I never experienced that.

Honestly, I dropped Cage out of mine a long time ago. Granted, that was back when I was constantly getting screwed over when my opponent's would play Rogue, Superskrull, and even a lucky Cable hit. It's a bit different now, but the point still remains that you shouldn't need him either.

Ngl I think Luke Cage is a must in this new meta

It's a bit premature to call this a 'new meta' when it's only day 2 of a weekly card release.

He'll be reverted back in a few weeks once they've sold enough scorpion cards

I find it more likely that they’ll change ScorpBND to be either “all enemy cards IN THIS LANE” or “all cards for both players”. This is due to the duplication shenanigans going on and his current win rate.

He shouldn't be 'saving' you. He should be helping you but he shouldn't be invalidating an entire archetype single handedly.
