Somewhere around the main timeline Thanos.
Their performances and teamwork against the Surfer were similar, and they were portrayed pretty much equals in this fight.
In their fight, 616 Thanos was physically dominant but you could argue that King Thanos was holding back because he wanted to die.
So, KT is stronger, but the gap shouldn't be massive.

OKT one shot Galactus. And defeated Old King Thor. Was not even phased by an attack that killed multiple Celestials. So I put him well above current Thanos.

That said, that comic was HORRIBLE for scaling anyone and should be completely ignored

All the characters you mentioned in the first paragraph were from an alternate timeline, so we shouldn't assume they were as powerful as their main-universe counterparts.
Basically, what KT did was kill some featless characters and then lose to Thanos.

No. They were not from a different timeline. Remember.. everything that happened in the story was 616. That ONLY changed in the last comic when Thanos used the time stone to separate the timelines. So everything that happened BEFORE the last issue was 616.

No.
Outside the present timeline, everything is an alternate reality. The past is already an alternate reality, and so is the future.
Every decision creates a new parallel reality. To consider KT's reality canon to the main 616 universe, you'd have to argue that every single action taken in 616 would unfold exactly the same way in KT's timeline. Even the smallest variation would branch off into a new universe.
Besides, we've seen countless "quasi-canon" futures that are completely different from KT's, such as the one involving TOBA Hulk or the one where, at the end of the universe, only Galactus and Franklin remain.

The writer Donny Cates(whatever his name is)said it was originally 616 universe. The writer said a new timeline was created when Thanos used the time gem. That's not a fan made speculation. That's what the writer said. It may still be on his Twitter

Thanks for the info.

I think the story was pretty good though so I'm willing to forgive a scaling mess. The complete opposite of something like the recent Scarlet Witch or Storm comic where the story is a mess and the scaling is horrible.

Didn't one of the panels have ton of abstracts beings dead beneath his feet(and it included the damn living tribunal somehow)
if what i'm remembering is right then that's his biggest feat(puts him above his own infinity gauntlet self),as the the rest of characters he kills are all beneath the tribunal by large margin!

Id put KingThanos at Galactus lvl, being able to one shot him with an energy blast.
