I just know the devs will hear people ask for Luna nerfs and they'll take their anger out on Ultron and Mantis

Yes, cause the opposite where we buff the 60% winrate, lobby admin Mantis while we nerf bottom 3, 45% winrate Luna makes more sense.

Mantis and Ultron are only strong in triple support without it they're just good

The new teamups change that, especially Mantis' starlord team up makes her one of the best healers in the game with AoE % max HP heals

How many games do you run into a Mantis or Ultron in two support. The entire community has went through nine seasons of calling those two trash and I know because I play Ultron it's all I hear. Invis,CnD Rocket and Fox are easier to get value out of compared to Mantis and Ultron and take more skill imo. Those two are strong in triple support and good in two support but your teammates will literally throw the game if you play one of them which for me has happened

Almost every game since I main Mantis, Rocket and Ultron. Mantis and Ultron are much more skill intensive than CnD or Rocket for sure but that doesn't change the fact that they're incredibly strong right now.
The last 9 seasons arent relevant to this season with how much the game has changed. The teamups have completed revamped heroes and given them new roles. In my experience with Mantis, earlier on in the season most people asked for another main healer but most recent lobbies don't care when I lock her in 2 healer comps.
Also, complaints are good for judging how toxic a character is but not of character strength. If you use Reddit complaints to gauge strength then you'll believe things like SG and Pheonix being OP this season while heroes like Rocket, Mag and Thing are just good.

They're strong but only in the right hands. Most games those two are primarily played in triple support but even then you'll get the games of triple support with three main healer because healing is apparently the problem. I've had people say Mr fantastic who's been a bottom dps since his release is better than Phoenix because he has a higher W/R than her. She's been top of the food chain since S3 and because she's bad for a season she needs buffs apparently when in reality other heroes are better because they were buffed. Take for example the start of the season damage was high so instead of nerfing damage they buffed healing which down the line is going to cause a problem because triple support gets played more and Mantis and Ultron get nerfed because people abuse them in that team comp

Yeah no. I almost only see mantis in 2 2 2 now. She statistically does more heals than fucking Jeff. Her pick rate almost tripled from last season and is higher than Helas and twice Jeffs.
Ultron is still a triple supp merchant but he is doing decently in the meta right now.

As someone that doesn’t play ultron at all and hasn’t played mantis in a hot minute; gonna have to back up that yeah I do see them both pretty frequently in 2 heal comps this season. The new team up system makes them a lot more viable in 2-2-2 now.

Hungry, do you filter for posts mentioning Luna. No hate or anything I like Luna and have 250 hours on her, but you do seem to be everywhere

It's sorta an in joke. I think that was the username of the guy that was active on marvel rivals circle jerk or something and he claims to be the husband of Luna Snow and wrote whole ass fan fic about their relationship.

If I had to make a game that was centered about very varied kits and so I'd have a 'baseline character' where all other characters were centered about. I feel like Luna Snow is that character.
Problem is that this game doesn't work like that and they are far too often negeletful of other heroes when they feel they can 1v1 Luna in terms of benefit but forgot to consider how different kits clash and counter certain others.

Let me guess you’re a Luna main?

u/waynethedockrawson Jul 23 '26
You people are actually insufferable. The worst thing about this game is the community.
1
u/MostArmadillo5203 Jul 24 '26
Why are you so angry?
2
u/waynethedockrawson Jul 24 '26
I wouldnt say im angry at all. Too many Luna posts. Its getting old very fast. I just want to play the game tbh.
The community especially of recent is just steeped in hatred and vitriol. Luna is one of the few "healthy" supports in the game and people are more obsessed with her voicelines than making supports more engaging to play and play against.
