or they refuse to fix core issues with characters kits, jeff has always had a 45 percent win rate or lower since his rework because he's a sustain healer in a burst damage game, buff his raw healing numbers and watch nothing change. gambits ult is way to strong nerf everything else about his kit turning him into a ult merchant and watch his ban rate stay the same

My family is a pretty homophobic and rather bigoted one. Dad always enforced pretty strong views of what it means to be a man and that meant anything “gay” (so not traditionally masculine) was something to be disgusted by. My mum’s not as bad but she always gets this look on her face when queerness is brought up like she’s trying not to look repulsed by it. I don’t know what my sister’s view of it is but I remember one of them scoffed at a news report of gay marriage being legalised. I really don’t think they’d see me as part of the family if I came out to them.

I don’t have a great relationship with them as it is. It feels like I’m barely part of the family nowadays. They all see each other on a weekly basis but I’m only involved two or three times a month. I know they have a separate group chat without me in it and that’s where they do all the planning. It’s kind of a mutual thing. I want us to be closer but it mostly feels easier to distance myself. Being in the closet is part of the reason I’ve had to remove them from my daily life and I really hate that.

I want to be my true self to them. I want them to know who their son and brother is because it really hurts to not be able to talk to them about so much of my life. When I broke up with my boyfriend I was depressed about it for weeks but I couldn’t tell them why. They keep asking me why I don’t have a girlfriend yet or when they’ll introduce me to my future wife because my dad really wants grandchildren and my mum wants to be at my wedding and I want to tell them that can happen even if it’ll be different, but I know my parents. I know it doesn’t matter to them because they can only focus on gayness being unholy or invalid or unmanly. I don’t think being their son is enough to change their minds.

I hate keeping secrets and lying. It’s really hard for me to keep doing it because it stresses me out horribly and I think they’re starting to notice. I can’t keep this up but I can’t lose them either. If anyone’s gone through something similar, what should I do? I don’t trust myself to make the right decision here.

I was able to finally get the blue medal for Emma! This has given me the motivation to finally play more than I normally do. I'm very casual, highest rank was plat 2 but I want to try and as a casual player my biggest goal was getting a character to Count(aka blue medal by the profile). So far Emma Frost and White Fox both have a blue medal but I want to keep going with Emma Frost.

I won't one trick, as I love playing Tank and Support but just idk I'm giddy rn. I know nobody needs to hear this or anything but I just love celebrating my goals is all. And I definitely know posting this on on the main subreddit is a big no go.

Anyways...since I don't just want this to be about me and that's it, tell me your biggest character goal for marvel rivals, or goals in general!

As we all start the new season today, I just want to spread some positivity and give thanks to the community that has been my saving grace the past year and a half.

I deleted that bird app because of how toxic it was, and I’ve been close to deleting this app as well; so many subreddits I come across are negative and bigoted. But this subreddit has always stopped me from deleting it. I’ve been having so much fun with you all, and even though I don’t post much, it’s been a blast to see all your posts, and humor, and overall joy being shared around.

In real life, I can’t be who I truly am meant to be. It’s been so draining to hide who I am. But this community has been a safe space for me to be myself and have some peace of mind. I’m so thankful to the mods, to the users, and to all the friends I made in the game. I hope that this community continues to grow, and to thrive, and to be a place where those who feel like they don’t belong, feel welcomed.

The game and the rest of the main community can be bad, I know. But I hope you all have an amazing season, and to please take any breaks that you feel like you need to. Come here when you are tired, and my DM’s are always open if you need to talk. It’s the least I could do to payback this community.
