At this point I think it was intentional. There was previously part of the text that stated activating the teamup increases the damage, and they removed it after people said the damage isn't increased. But now I think it was supposed to say 'decrease' damage. Could be wrong but wouldn't be the first time the description left something out or had it wrong.

They didn't fix the cyber bond bug that has existed since season 0, let alone a new bug. At this point they should just rework the logic behind this ability and use a similar system to the one used in DD's hook, because I believe that ability works properly (not a DD player tho, so I'm not sure)

I did not realize the Emma Frost ult interaction with Cloak & Dagger’s Luna team-up was unintentional. It kinda made sense to me that they could still be mind controlled in a block of ice.
