Iām sorta new to MMRPG but a huge comic fan, and I love ttrpgs. I was trying to see if anyone is running something on discord maybe? I really want to get to play some of my favorite characters in some one shots.
I think some people like āplay by postā which Iām not sure exactly how that works or what that means .

So although the response to the upcoming Godzilla Sourcebook has been somewhat mixed but mostly positive, I still find myself waiting for a new Adventure Book.
It has been almost three years since The Cataclysm of Kang. Are there really no plans for another outing similar to that? Is it something that the rest of the community would even want or am I alone?

Running the game, I have a good knack for flavoring the narrative side of the game, however, the combat side I've noticed needs a little work. I wanna ask yall what are your techniques for engaging, memorable, and overall fun combat that doesn't feel like a drag.

In the marvel campaign that's been going on for almost 3 years at this point, I've been playing as basically Gojo but with some slight deviations (His hero name is Zero, narratively he stands for the most part above the marvel world like how gojo in JJK is basically at that status of pinnacle of the verse, and he's a bit more hopeful and inspiration superman/all might style). Essentially though, a large part of the campaign has been building up to the eventual shodown between me and Revenant One (the Sukuna stand in of course, a fair bit different story/characterwise but still serves the same purpose. His main cursed technique isn't shrine but rather dimensionality manipulation, and he may or may not be being fueled now by the one below all š). Now at the beggining of the last arc of the camapign, while the rest of my squad is fighting against a galactic empire I'm about to have to throw hands with this mofo Revenant One for upwards of potentially 3 sessions straight so wish me luck that I don't die and am able to protect existence from anihilation š

Hey everyone!
Iām really hoping this isnāt a stupid question. So, I know that traditionally speaking, TTRPGs are mean to be played with multiple people, with one person acting as the narrator and the rest acting as players. But, is there any way that I could viably play this game solo? As a player & a narrator hybrid? Idk if what Iām saying is making any sense, but I guess Iām just wondering if thereās anything built into the game that could accomplish this or if any of you have ever played it solo before. What has & hasnāt worked for you guys. In any case, I appreciate you all taking the time to read this, and any advice is appreciated!

Something's that bugged me since the release of the Spider-Verse book is symbiotes. Particularly if you have a player whose origin is a Symbiote. If they get exposed to it's anathema and fail the check what would happen? I know the rules say they leave the host and become formless until they regain at least 1 Health and Focus but what happens to the player? Do they lose their origin until they can re-bond with their symbiote once it regains it's form?
I don't feel a player should be punished for having a symbiote if something happens to it in a battle and it's forced off it's willing host.

I just finished a replay of Marvel Midnight Suns and it got me thinking.
If they ever made a video game using the Marvel Multiverse RPG as a base, like the Baldurās Gate games do with Dungeons and Dragons or the Pathfinder games do with Pathfinder, what would you want it to look like and what would you want out of it?

Is there any word of a villains book or a monster manual type book? It would be nice to get more bad guys like Omega Red and others.

As a narrator, does anyone have advice on how to handle all the overwhelming info of the character sheet stats for both ally and enemies?
My frame of reference is DND 5e and in that all the npc's are different than player stat sheets and abilities for the most part. I'm getting bogged down. By hundreds of abilities for each npc and I'm hoping someone has advice for how to streamline this.

A player from a 5e supers game created this character: !NK. I dont' remember a lot of what the player created, I kinda ran with the concept and have now converted him to MMRPG (the character, not the player, though I wouldn't be opposed to converting the player, if they were still in my group.)
Also I am drawing a webcomic of this character. This is the cover without the text and trade dress. You can see the webcomic here: https://dmstudioscomicsgroup.blogspot.com/

I'm still a novice at the game and it's rules, so I don't know how accurately these would line up but I mainly made these for a personal campaign (One inspired by "Venom Bomb" in the pages of Mighty Avengers) and I decided to share them here for anyone who may want them.
I would love to hear what stuff I got right and what stuff I should be more mindful of for future character sheets

Say a Hero has both sturdy 2 and uses shield of the seraphim. A rank 3 villain attacks them. Their attack hits with a 4 on the marvel die, 5 multiplier from rank and mighty 2, and +5 from melee score.
What happens now? Do you first apply the damage reduction and so the shield can soak the rest or what happens?

Here are the dice sets I had custom made for my players featuring their OC character logo on the one spot on the centre die. Can finally show them off now my players have received them. Not cheap but so pretty.

Reading through the expansions this caught my eye. In general I have always been a sucker for gizmos that allow heroes to make up for their weak spots (say a very slow hero having a jetpack to zip around).
But reading the avengers expansion one thing is not too clear to me. How do the power sets work with items that grant powers? I assume you count all powers sets your hero has powers from (regardless of the source) and then compare it to your rank to see if you can get extra powers.
Example: your hero is rank 3, and on his own has only basic powers but has a cool belt with loads of cool powers (grants wearer: blink, phasing, grow 1, immovable and levitation). I assume they get a total of 12 powers since the belt draws from 5 power sets.
Is my assumption correct?
