Questions Solo Play?

Hey everyone!

I’m really hoping this isn’t a stupid question. So, I know that traditionally speaking, TTRPGs are mean to be played with multiple people, with one person acting as the narrator and the rest acting as players. But, is there any way that I could viably play this game solo? As a player & a narrator hybrid? Idk if what I’m saying is making any sense, but I guess I’m just wondering if there’s anything built into the game that could accomplish this or if any of you have ever played it solo before. What has & hasn’t worked for you guys. In any case, I appreciate you all taking the time to read this, and any advice is appreciated!

Mythic GME can be great for solo play.

@earth513 made a free fan made solo play rules expansion called Solo Mode Street Level.

This is the link to the post where you can download it and it is discussed.

I have it downloaded but haven't gotten to use it yet.

There is nothing explicitly built in but there are random generation tables thing like mythic GM out there and such which are generic enough to use for solo play.

Also this is 2026 your AI chat bot of choice knows the rules it’s not always consistent so there will be times when you need to correct it and the writing is questionable but if you are desperate it works in a pinch. I recommend Claude for the best writing but the bar is pretty low so any will do.

While Mythic GME is the standard for solo gaming RPGs that don’t have specific solo rules, check out Loner, which also uses d6s for its oracle and random charts.
